The Elegant Hatchery creates carved panoramic bird eggs using Swarovski and Czech crystals, and gold plated filigrees. These are made into ornaments or can be a stationary item. They can be as small as a quail egg or the size of that of a duck, goose, emu, rhea and many in between.
Doreen: “I was lucky enough to work with Sally Fiddyment making eggs for Gumps catalog in San Francisco, and at one point she brought one of mine for the Blue room tree at the White House in 2000. Finding little miniatures is like opening Christmas presents where I imagine how I can decorate and use it in an egg.”
